NOWPAP Marine Environmental Watch has been operated by the Ministry of Environment ofJapan and Northwest Pacific Region Environmental Cooperation Center since 2001 to support implementation of Northwest Pacific Action Plan, a part of Regional Seas Programme of the United Nation Environment Program. This website provides remotely sensed information of marine environment observed by satellite sensors in the Northwest Pacific region.
