|A composite image is created by
composing the only nighttime images by a daily unit from the sea
surface temperature data(MCSST) for each path which is calculated
from AVHHR reception data of NOAA. In this system, the influence of
cloud area is eliminated by adopting the "MAX" values of MCSST in
each pixcel, in order to reduce the cloud area in the period (days)
when the composite image is created.
The temperature range of browse images has been created with 256 colors from -2 degrees C to 30 degrees C.
Recognizing it as a night data in case the sun elevation angle at the time of reception is 10 degrees or less, the nighttime images of the same date in world standard time have been composed.
